Details
Passengers may only travel on the specified route for the entirety of the journey (eg Southampton Central - London Waterloo). If passengers board or depart the service at any intermediate station, they should be treated as though they do not have a valid ticket for that journey and penalty fares apply. The exception to the above is with the Portsmouth route, where passengers can alight or depart at either Portsmouth and Southsea or Portsmouth Harbour.

How to buy your tickets
The passenger can book in two ways up to 0300 on the day of travel: Online at www.megatrain.com Telephone booking service on 09001 200 300. Passengers receive a unique megatrain booking reference to confirm their journey and payment for the ticket. Passengers must record this reference number to provide to a South West Trains member of staff upon request. Unique references are received by email, text message or over the telephone. The passenger must be over 16 years of age to purchase the products and services on the website. Children under the age of 5 years are carried free. All children under the age of 15 years must be accompanied by an adult (16 years of age or over) when travelling on megatrain.com services.
