This promotion, we have decided to extend the travel validity to provide customers with more opportunities to travel.

The promotion will run between 20 October and 31 March 2009 inclusive (excluding 19 December to 11 January).

Promotional travel is valid between any 2 stations in Scotland, plus to and from Carlisle on the following services:

• First ScotRail
• Virgin Trains
• First TransPennine Express
• CrossCountry (Arriva)
• National Express East Coast

Proof of age is not required when purchasing tickets. However customers may be required to show proof of age, in the form of photographic ID or Driving License, during their journey.

Note that this offer is valid to/from Lockerbie and Dunbar given validity on First TransPennine Express, Cross Country (Arriva), National Express East Coast and Virgin Trains services.

There is no compulsory reservation requirement with this product, tickets can be purchased on the day of travel subject to the travel restrictions shown. Optional reservations are available to customers on request.

Key conditions

Full refund less admin fee can be granted on unused tickets before date of outward travel.

Customers cannot change their date of outward travel once they have purchased their ticket. No break of journey is permitted other than for connectional purposes.

Tickets are generally valid for return travel up to one calendar month from the date of outward travel. However, all travel under the terms of this offer must be completed between 20 October to 31 March 2009 (excluding 19 December to 11 January).

Club 55 Standard is available for travel between any 2 stations in Scotland.

Club 55 Premier is only valid on the following routes:

• Edinburgh/Glasgow & Aberdeen
• Inverness & Aberdeen

Club 55 Premier is NOT valid on Edinburgh/Glasgow to Inverness services due to limited First Class capacity.

All Club 55 Standard and Premier tickets are subject to a Monday-Friday travel restriction shown below. There are no restrictions at the weekend.

Not valid for travel until after 0915, nor on services departing Glasgow Queen Street/Central, Haymarket and Waverley between 1642 – 1809 inclusive, nor the 1815 Glasgow to Edinburgh service in either direction.

These restrictions DO NOT apply for journeys on the Glasgow – Oban/Fort William/Mallaig and Inverness – Kyle/Wick/Thurso routes.

When purchasing via Telesales and the website customers must allow at least 5 working days for the postage of tickets.
