East Midlands Railway between London St Pancras International / Derby and Sheffield, and also between Matlock and Nottingham / Derby

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Derby and Chesterfield, closing some lines all week.

CrossCountry

Trains will divert via an alternative route which means an additional 60 minutes may be added to your journey. 

East Midlands Railway

Buses will replace trains between Derby and Matlock to connect to / from train services.

On Saturdays, an additional bus (departing 22:18) will run between Derby and Chesterfield, calling at Belper.

Monday to Fridays, some additional late night / early morning buses will run between Derby and Chesterfield, calling at Belper.

Saturday and Monday to Friday:

A reduced service of one train per hour will run between London St Pancras International and Sheffield via a diversionary route and will not call at Derby.

One train per hour will also run from London St Pancras International and terminate at Derby.

Rail replacement buses will run between Derby and Chesterfield to connect with train services.

Sunday:

All services will run on a diversionary route between London St Pancras International and Sheffield.

Trains may depart earlier than usual and arrive later than normal.

Friday 9 June only:

  • The 23:49 Nottingham to Derby service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

  • The 23:12 Matlock to Nottingham service will start from Derby. A rail replacement bus service will run between Matlock and Derby, running earlier than usual to connect with the train.
