Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Newport / Cwmbran / Gloucester, closing some line.

CrossCountry:

Saturday and Sunday:

Great Western Railway buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Newport and also between Newport and Gloucester.

Transport for Wales:

Friday:

The 23:09 Shrewsbury to Cardiff Central service will terminate at Newport. A rail replacement bus will run between Newport and Cardiff Central.

Saturday:

Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Newport. 

If you are travelling towards Gloucester, you should use CrossCountry services to complete your journey.

Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Cwmbran and also between Cardiff Central and Gloucester.

Monday:

The 04:35 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly service will start from Cwmbran. A rail replacement bus service will run between Cardiff Central and Cwmbran to connect with the train.
