Amended trains in the Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury area from Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 December

Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour, and between Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Warminster

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Westbury area, closing some lines.

As a result, the following amendments will apply:

• The 13:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central service will call additionally on request at Dilton Marsh.

• The 13:30 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour service will call additionally on request at Dilton Marsh.

• The 15:12 Westbury to Warminster service will not run.

• The 15:30 Warminster to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Westbury at 15:41.

• The 20:30 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will operate in 2 parts:

1. The 20:30 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads service.

2. The 21:26 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour service.

There will be no connection between these 2 trains. Customers for beyond Bristol Temple Meads should travel on the 21:21 Bristol Parkway to Portsmouth & Southsea service. Further rail connections are available between Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour.
