Hull Trains between London Kings Cross and Hull / Beverley

LNER between London Kings Cross and Leeds / Harrogate, between London Kings Cross and Doncaster / York / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Aberdeen, and also between London Kings Cross and Lincoln

Lumo between London Kings Cross and Newcastle / Edinburgh

All Thameslink services to / from / via London Kings Cross

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the London Kings Cross area, closing all lines between Potters Bar / Hertford North and Stevenage / St Neots / Royston.

Grand Central

Grand Central will not run any service all weekend.

Great Northern / Thameslink

A revised train service will run between:

  • Royston and Cambridge / Ely / King's Lynn.

  • St Neots and Peterborough.

  • Moorgate and Hertford North / Potters Bar.

  • London Kings Cross and Potters Bar.

  • Finsbury Park and Brighton.

  • Finsbury Park and Horsham (Saturday only).

Replacement buses will run between:

  • St Neots and Hitchin / Bedford.

  • Royston and Hitchin.

  • Luton Airport Parkway and Stevenage via Hitchin.

  • St Albans and Stevenage via Welwyn Garden City.

  • Stevenage and Hertford North.

  • Hitchin and Potters Bar.

Hull Trains

No Hull Trains services will run / from London Kings Cross all weekend, instead diverting to run to / from London St Pancras International.

As a result, no trains will call at Stevenage / Grantham / Retford / Doncaster / Cottingham / Beverley, and a reduced service will operate across the Hull Trains network.

LNER

No LNER services will run to / from London Kings Cross all weekend.

Some services will run to / from St Neots. Replacement bus services will operate between Bedford and St Neots, where they will connect to trains running to / from London St Pancras International. Other LNER services will run to / from Peterborough.

Lumo

No Lumo services will run to / from London Kings Cross. All services will be cancelled, except the following:

Saturday:

  • The 05:36 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Newcastle.

  • The 05:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle.

  • The 12:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Peterborough. A replacement bus service will operate from Peterborough direct to London Kings Cross, calling at no stops.

  • The 15:48 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Peterborough. A replacement bus service will operate from London Kings Cross direct to Peterborough, calling at no stops.

Sunday:

  • The 08:52 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle.

  • The 13:56 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Peterborough. A replacement bus service will operate from Peterborough direct to London Kings Cross, calling at no stops.

  • The 15:50 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross service will terminate at Newcastle.

  • The 16:24 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Peterborough. A replacement bus service will operate from London Kings Cross direct to Peterborough, calling at no stops.

  • The 19:24 London Kings Cross to Edinburgh service will start from Newcastle.
