Description

Engineering work is taking place between St Denys and Fratton, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

Great Western Railway:

Except where shown below, trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will terminate / start Southampton Central.

A rail replacement bus service will operate between Southampton Central, Fareham, Cosham (not after 20:08), Fratton, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour.

Road journey time Southampton Central to Portsmouth Harbour approximately 75 minutes.

At Fratton and Portsmouth & Southsea:

  • Buses from Southampton Central will stop to set down only

  • Buses from Portsmouth Harbour will stop to pick up only.

Also:

17:40 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will terminate Westbury. Customers for beyond Westbury travel by alternative services.

19:34 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour will divert after Westbury to Castle Cary and Yeovil Pen Mill where it will terminate. Customers for stations to Portsmouth Harbour travel by alternative services.

South Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour

  • Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour

Southern

Buses replace trains between Havant and Southampton Central.

Trains which usually run between Brighton and Southampton Central will run between Brighton and Portsmouth & Southsea.
