Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Southampton Central area, closing various lines. ​​​​​​​

CrossCountry:

Saturday and Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth, on Sunday some buses will operate between Eastleigh and Bournemouth also.

Great Western Railway:

Saturday and Sunday:

Trains to / from Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted between Romsey and Fareham, and will not call at Southampton Central. They will additionally call at Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh.

Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

Some trains that normally run to / from Portsmouth Harbour will not run between Westbury and Portsmouth Harbour. You should use alternative services to complete your journey.

South Western Railway:

Saturday:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Southampton Airport Parkway / Southampton Central and Bournemouth.

  • Southampton Central and New Milton.

Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Eastleigh / Southampton Central and Bournemouth.

  • Eastleigh and Romsey / New Milton.

  • Southampton Central and Fareham.
