Engineering work is taking place between Swansea and Carmarthen, closing al lines.

Great Western Railway:


Trains will not run between Swansea and Carmarthen. You should use Transport for Wales services between these stations.


Buses will replace trains between Swansea and Carmarthen.

Additionally, the 07:55 Swansea to London Paddington service will start from Cardiff Central. Replacement buses will run from Swansea to Cardiff Central, with both fast and stopping buses available.

Transport for Wales:

On Saturday and Sunday, buses will replace trains between:

  • Swansea and Carmarthen.

  • Swansea and Pembroke Dock.

  • Swansea and Milford Haven.

  • Swansea and Fishguard Harbour.
