Description

Engineering work is taking place between Trowbridge and Frome / Salisbury, closing all lines.

Great Western Railway

No trains will call at Westbury.

Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour will run between Cardiff Central and Trowbridge, and between Salisbury and Portsmouth Harbour.

Trains between Gloucester / Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth will run between Gloucester and Bristol Temple Meads, and between Frome and Weymouth.

Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury / Frome / Warminster / Salisbury / Southampton Central will start from / terminate at Trowbridge.

The following services will not run:

  • The 05:10 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington (via Newbury) service

  • The 06:12 Frome to London Paddington service

  • The 08:38 London Paddington to Westbury service

  • The 15:12 and 17:12 Westbury to Warminster services

  • The 17:01 Severn Beach to Salisbury service

  • The 18:08 London Paddington to Frome service

  • The 20:16 and 20:58 Frome to Westbury services

Additionally, the following services are affected:

  • The 17:50 Gloucester to Salisbury service will terminate at Swindon.

  • The 20:06 Westbury to Cheltenham Spa service will start from Swindon.

  • The 23:45 Bristol Temple Meads to Frome service will terminate at Bath Spa. If you are travelling to Freshford or Frome on this service, you should use earlier services to continue your journey.

Replacement bus services will run between Trowbridge / Westbury and Frome, between Trowbridge and Salisbury, and between Chippenham and Westbury / Frome.
