How to get to Cardiff by train

Cardiff has 1 station:

Cardiff Central: This is Cardiff’s main station. There are regular direct trains to and from many destinations, including Swansea, Newport, Bristol, Bath, Southampton, Portsmouth, Birmingham and Manchester. If you’re coming or going from London Paddington, there are direct services each day.

Cardiff is a popular shooting location for many film and TV shows, including:

  • Gavin and Stacy was mostly shot in Barry Island, but some scenes also featured Cardiff Bay and the Wales Millennium Centre
