Engineering work is taking place between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare, closing all lines.


Services will be diverted between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton, extending journey times by 1 hour. Replacement buses will run between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-super-Mare.

Great Western Railway:

Services between London Paddington and Weston-Super-Mare / Taunton via Bristol Temple Meads will be amended, and will not run between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-Super-Mare / Taunton.

Some services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Penzance that usually run via Bristol Temple Meads will be amended to run via Westbury.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Bristol Temple Meads and Weston-Super-Mare (all stations).
  • Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (calling at Weston-super-Mare, Highbridge, Burnham, Bridgwater and Taunton).
