Boardmasters Festival is an annual event held in Cornwall, UK, usually held over four days in mid August. This event is a combination of live music and surfing / skateboarding competitions in and around the town of Newquay.

Boardmasters Festival returns to Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach from Wednesday 7 August to Sunday 11 August 2019. As always all music and camping activities will be held at the Watergate Bay site, and all surfing, skate, BMX, shopping and beach activities will be held at Fistral Beach site, near the town centre.

What's happening with the trains?

The closest train station is Newquay - a ten minute drive to the main arena.

Great Western Railway will be running a a number of additional services over the festival. They will be from London Paddington to Newquay calling at - Reading, Bristol Temple Meads, Taunton, Exeter St. David's, Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Par, Luxulyan, Bugle, Roche, St Columb Road and Quintrell Downs. Tickets for these services are now available to buy. 

• Customers must have a seat reservation to travel by train.
• Allow extra time and arrive at the station 30 minutes before their train departs.
• A shuttle bus service runs from just outside the station – if heading to Watergate Bay board the bus outside the Great Western Hotel, for Fistral outside Burger King.
• Extra bus services will be available to take customers to mainline services towards London.
