Engineering work is taking place between Tilehurst and Didcot Parkway overnight from Monday evening until Wednesday morning, and also on Friday evening until Saturday morning, closing some lines.

As a result, the following trains will not call at Pangbourne:

Monday and Tuesday:

  • 21:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 21:37 Banbury to Reading.
  • 21:57 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:21 Didcot Parkway to Reading.
  • 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford.
  • 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Tuesday and Wednesday:

  • 03:51 Oxford to Reading.


  • 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford
  • 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Replacement buses will run between Tilehurst and Pangbourne to connect with these trains.
