Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Preston and Blackpool North / Blackpool South, closing all lines. The work takes place between 01:05 and 04:50 each morning between Tuesday 16 and Friday 19 July.

Monday to Thursday:

The 21:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Blackpool North service will terminate at Preston. A train connection from Preston to Blackpool North is available.

The 22:00 Leeds to Blackpool North service will terminate at Preston. A bus will run from Preston to Blackpool North.

The 23:46 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will terminate at Preston. A bus will run from Preston to Blackpool North.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 03:33 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will start from Preston. A bus will run from Blackpool North to Preston.

The 04:46 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will start from Preston. A bus will run from Blackpool North to Preston.

05:14 Blackpool South to Preston service will start from Blackpool North. A bus will run from Blackpool South to Preston.

The 05:19 Leeds to Wigan Wallgate service will be diverted via Wakefield Kirkgate and will not call at Cottingley, Morley, Batley, Dewsbury and Ravensthorpe. A bus will be provided from Leeds to Brighouse, departing Leeds at 04:35 to connect with the train at Brighouse. A second bus will be provided from Leeds to Brighouse departing Leeds at 05:35.
