Southeastern all routes from / to London Charing Cross and London Cannon Street, Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea and between Grove Park and Bromley South

Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street  and New Cross / Deptford closing some lines.

Southeastern

All weekend, there will be no Southeastern trains from / to  London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street or London Bridge.

Most trains will be diverted to run from / to London Victoria.

Buses will run between New Cross and Charlton via Greenwich.

Train alterations will also apply on the following routes via:

  • Woolwich Arsenal - A half hourly service will run between New Cross & Dartford via Woolwich.
  • Bexleyheath - On Saturday, there will be fewer trains than usual as only the half-hourly London Victoria to Gravesend trains will be running. On Sunday, the normal service of 2 trains per hour between London Victoria and Dartford will run.
  • Sidcup - A half hourly service will run from London Victoria to Gravesend via Sidcup.
  • Hayes - A half-hourly service will run, between New Cross and Hayes.
  • Grove Park - (stopping trains via Grove Park) There will be two trains per hour which will run from London Victoria, and are extended to run to Tunbridge Wells on Saturday, and to Tonbridge on Sunday. The Grove Park to Bromley North trains will be retimed, and run every 30 minutes.
  • Paddock Wood - Charing Cross to Ramsgate and Dover services will run from London Victoria instead, and will include a portion of the train which will be detached (/attached for London bound services) at Tonbridge for stations to Hastings.
  • Hastings - Customer for stations between Tonbridge and Hastings should travel in the Hastings portion of the Dover and Ramsgate trains which will run from London Victoria. On Saturday, additional stopping trains to Tunbridge Wells will also run from London Victoria. 
  • Sole Street - On Saturday, stopping trains between Victoria and Dover via Denmark Hill will not run. The fast service from London Victoria to Dover will be retimed and stop additionally at stations between St Mary Cray and Rochester. An additional shuttle service will also run between Faversham and Dover Priory calling at Canterbury East only.
  • Bromley South - (stopping trains between London Victoria, Bromley South and Orpington) On Saturday, a half hourly stopping service will run between London Victoria and Bromley South as trains which usually start / terminate at Bromley South will not run. On Sunday, the usual half hourly service will run but these trains will be retimed towards London.
  • Sheerness - on - Sea - On Saturday only, the Sittingbourne to Sheerness services are retimed towards Sheerness only.
  • High Speed trains - Saturday only, Faversham to London St Pancras trains are retimed between Faversham and Sittingbourne towards London St Pancras only.

Ticket Acceptance:

Valid tickets can be used on:

  • London Underground between London Victoria, London Charing Cross, London Bridge, Waterloo, Cannon Street, and Southwark.
  • Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich.
  • London Overground between New Cross and Canada Water
