Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Liverpool Lime Street area, and also between Manchester Victoria and Stalybridge, closing lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 21:00 Newcastle to Liverpool service will be diverted to terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A replacement bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
  • The 21:46 Scarborough to Manchester Victoria service will be diverted to terminate at Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 22:00 Newcastle to Manchester Airport service will not call at Manchester Victoria.

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 05:03 Manchester Airport to Newcastle service will be diverted, not calling at Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria. This train will depart Manchester Piccadilly a few minutes later than usual.
  • The 05:05 York to Manchester Airport service will not call at Manchester Victoria or Manchester Oxford Road.
  • The 05:20 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle service will depart earlier than usual at 04:57. The train will be diverted, not calling at Lea Green, Newton-le-Willows or Manchester Victoria, but will additionally call at Manchester Piccadilly and Stalybridge.
  • The 05:48 Manchester Airport to Middlesbrough service will be diverted, not calling at Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Victoria. This train will depart Manchester Piccadilly a few minutes later than usual.
