Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Cardiff area, closing various lines.

CrossCountry

  • Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Chepstow.

Great Western Railway

  • Trains between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen will terminate at Bristol Parkway, buses will replace trains between Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central.
  • Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Newport.
  • Portsmouth Harbour services are also affected by engineering work between Cosham and Portsmouth Harbour, buses will run between Bristol Parkway / Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour.

Transport for Wales

Buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and the following stations:

  • Newport.
  • Ebbw Vale Town calling at all stations.
  • Seven Tunnel Junction with some buses extended to Bristol Parkway.
  • Cwmbran to connect with Holyhead / Manchester Piccadilly trains.
  • Gloucester with some buses extended to Cheltenham Spa calling at all stations.
  • Bridgend.
