Engineering work is taking place between Edinburgh and Haymarket closing some lines and some platform closures at Edinburgh.

The following alterations will apply on these routes between:

Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street High Level via Falkirk High - Trains will run half hourly until 19:30 when services will return back to normal.

Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street High Level via Cumbernauld -Trains will only run between Linlithgow and Glasgow Queen Street High Level. Customers should use alternative services between Edinburgh and Linlithgow.

Edinburgh and Glasgow Central via Shotts - Trains will run hourly.

Edinburgh and Glasgow Central and Carstairs / Motherwell - Buses will replace all trains.

Edinburgh and Stirling / Dunblane - Trains will run normally but will call additionally at Linlithgow and Polmont.

Edinburgh and Helensburgh Central - Trains will run between Bathgate and Helensburgh Central. Customers should use alternative services between Edinburgh and Bathgate.
