Engineering work is taking place between Tilehurst and Didcot Parkway, closing 2 out of 4 tracks.

Due to the above works, the following trains will not call at Pangbourne:-

Monday to Wednesday

  • The 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:45 Reading to Oxford.
  • The 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Tuesday to Friday

  • The 03:51 Oxford to Reading.


  • The 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:45 Reading to Oxford. Customers for this train should travel by rail on the 23:36 train to Tilehurst to connect with the train.
  • The 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Replacement buses will run between Tilehurst and Pangbourne to connect with these trains, apart from the 23:45 Reading to Oxford (see advice above).
