Engineering work is taking place between Grantham and Retford, closing some lines.

Grand Central

All day Saturday and until 12:00 on Sunday, trains will operate to an amended timetable and will be diverted via Lincoln extending journey times.

Hull Trains

All trains will be diverted via Lincoln extending journey times.


Throughout Saturday and until 12.00 Sunday  LNER will be running an hourly service between London Kings Cross and Newcastle / Scotland, and one service every alternate hour between London Kings Cross and Leeds. All services are diverted via Lincoln.  Journey times are extended by up to an hour and a half. 

Trains to / from Harrogate will start /terminate at Leeds. There will be no trains to / from Leeds on Sunday morning.

Other services will start and terminate at Doncaster.  Rail replacement coach services will be provided between Grantham, Newark and Retford.
