Engineering work is taking place between Havant and Barnham, closing the lines all week.

Great Western Railway

Trains will not run to and from Brighton and will instead start / terminate at Portsmouth Harbour / Southampton Central. Most trains will additionally call at Swanwick.

Customers should use alternative Southern trains / road transport between Havant and Barnham, to complete their journey.


On Mondays to Fridays buses will replace trains between Fareham / Havant and Chichester. At weekends buses will replace trains between Havant and Barnham. Some early morning and late night buses are extended to Portsmouth and Southampton Central. There are no Southern trains to Portsmouth or Southampton for all 9 days.
