Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Great Western Railway network, closing various lines.

The work is taking place each night from 22:00 to 04:00 finishing at 04:00 Friday morning.

Monday and Tuesday

  • The 21:45 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids is retimed to run later after leaving Tiverton Parkway arriving at Exeter St Davids at 01:30.
  • The 23:06 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids is to run later after leaving Tiverton Parkway arriving at Exeter St Davids at 01:16. 
  • The 23:45 London Paddington to Penzance 'Night Riviera' is retimed to arrive later at Exeter St Davids at 03:32 then will leave Exeter at the normal time.

Monday to Wednesday

  • The 22:35 / 23:34 Reading to Gatwick Airport are replaced by buses between Guildford and Gatwick Airport.
  • The 23:18 Gatwick Airport to Reading is replaced by a bus between Redhill and Guildford.

Monday to Thursday

  • The 22:45 London Paddington to Swansea will have journey times extended after leaving Bristol Parkway.
  • The 23:20 London Paddington to Oxford will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:30 London Paddington to Cardiff Central is diverted and will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham. A replacement bus will run between Reading and Bristol Temple Meads. Customer may have to change buses to complete their journey.
