LNER between London Kings Cross and Inverness

ScotRail between Glasgow Queen Street / Edinburgh and Perth / Dundee / Aberdeen / Inverness / Elgin

Engineering work is taking place between Perth and Dundee on Saturday, and between Perth and Dundee / Stirling on Sunday, closing all lines.


On Sunday, LNER service to and from Inverness will take a diversionary route between Edinburgh and Perth and will not call at Gleneagles, Dunblane, Stirling or Falkirk Grahamston. A rail replacement bus will be provided between Perth & Falkirk, and between Edinburgh & Gleneagles.



Buses replace trains between Perth and Dundee. Services that usually run between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee / Aberdeen will instead run between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth, and between Dundee and Inverness.


Buses will replace trains between:

  • Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee.
  • Stirling and Perth.
  • Dunblane and Perth.
