London Overground between Clapham Junction and Highbury & Islington

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Denmark Hill area, closing some lines.

As a result of this, the following alterations will apply:

London Overground:

Replacement buses will run between Canada Water and Clapham Junction. London Overground trains will run between Highbury & Islington and Surrey Quays.

Southeastern services:

Bexleyheath line - All London Victoria to Dartford services will run from London Charing Cross instead.

Sole Street line - All London Victoria to Canterbury East services will run via the Herne Hill route and will not stop at Denmark Hill.

Thameslink

Trains will be diverted between Elephant & Castle and Shortlands via and calling additionally at Herne Hill.

Buses will run between Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction call at stations via Catford.

Ticket acceptance:

To help with your journey, tickets will be accepted on the following services:

  • Rail replacement buses between Denmark Hill and Herne Hill to connect with trains between London Victoria and Bromley South.
  • London Buses on routes P12, 78 & 484 between Denmark Hill and Lewisham.
  • London Underground between London Victoria / Embankment / London Cannon Street / London Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge.
