Chiltern Railways
Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Marylebone and Gerrards Cross, closing the line through Wembley Stadium.

This, together with with HS2 preparation works at West Ruislip, means that Chiltern Railways will operate a heavily amended timetable throughout the weekend.

Customers may need to travel via alternative routes, on other operator's services, London Underground services and / or rail replacement bus services. Journey times will be considerably longer than usual.

Chiltern Railways train services will operate as follows (in both directions):

  • 1 per hour Marylebone - Bicester North - Banbury - stations to Birmingham Moor Street (diverted via Aylesbury).
  • 1 per hour Gerrards Cross - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
  • 2 per hour Gerrards Cross - stations to Oxford.
  • Periodic service Leamington Spa - stations to Stratford Upon Avon.
  • Periodic service Leamington Spa - stations to Birmingham Moor Street.
  • 2 per hour Marylebone - Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham).
  • 1 per hour Marylebone - Aylesbury (via Amersham).

Buses will be provided to assist with connections as follows (in both directions):

  • 2 per hour Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Bicester Village.
  • 2 per hour High Wycombe - Amersham.
  • 3 per hour Gerrards Cross - stations to Hillingdon / West Ruislip (London Underground connections).
  • 1 per hour Princes Risborough - stations to Aylesbury.
