Engineering work is taking place between Liskeard and Truro, closing all lines.


Services that usually run to / from Penzance will be amended to run to / from Plymouth. Customers travelling to / from stations between Plymouth and Penzance should use Great Western Railway bus / train services to complete their journey.

Great Western Railway:

 Buses will replace trains between:

  • Liskeard and Truro.
  • St Austell and Newquay (via Luxulyan, then calling at all stations).

Trains that run between Truro and Falmouth Docks will be retimed in order to aid passenger connections with replacement buses at Truro.

The 21:15 Penzance to London Paddington "Night Riviera" Sleeper service will start from Plymouth at 23:23. An earlier train will run from Penzance at 20:00 to Truro, connecting with a replacement bus from Truro at 20:50 to Plymouth, connecting with the sleeper train.
