Between London Paddington and Newbury / Bedwyn / Oxford

Great Western Railway

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Slough, closing 2 out of 4 lines.

The following alterations will be implemented:-

London Paddington - Oxford (and beyond towards Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford) fast trains:

  • 10:21 and hourly until 18:21 London Paddington to Oxford will not run.
  • 09:55 and hourly until 19:55 Oxford to London Paddington will not run.
  • Most trains from Hereford / Great Malvern / Worcester to London Paddington will no longer call additionally at Maidenhead.

London Paddington - Newbury / Bedwyn:

  • Most trains will depart London Paddington as normal, not all will run throughout. Some trains from Bedwyn / Newbury will be re-timed to run a few minutes later than normal.

London Paddington-Reading / Didcot Parkway / Oxford:

  • Local trains will now operate from / to London Paddington as normal. However from mid-morning until mid-evening there will still be additional (hourly) trains between Didcot Parkway, Radley and Oxford.
