Description

Late night engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, closing the line

Each night from Monday to Thursday the following alterations will apply:

  • The 22:48 London Paddington to Swansea train is diverted after Swindon via and calling additionally at Bristol Temple Meads. Journey times will be extended by up to 45 minutes after leaving Swindon.
  • The 23:15 London Paddington to Oxford train will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Cardiff Central train is diverted between Reading and Bath Spa and will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham. Replacement buses will run between Reading and Chippenham calling at Swindon, between Didcot Parkway and Swindon and between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads calling at Chippenham and bath Spa.

Tuesday to Friday

  • The 04:53 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will start from Bristol Parkway at 04:33, departing Bristol Temple Meads at normal time 04:53.
