Engineering work is taking place all day in the Cardiff area, closing some platforms.

Great Western Railway

Trains between Cardiff Central and Taunton will divert to start / terminate Bristol Parkway.

08:57 and 10:13 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central, also 08:40 Exeter St Davids to Cardiff Central will divert to terminate Bristol Parkway.

Rail connections between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway (also between Cardiff Central and Filton Abbey Wood).

To Cardiff Central:

09:08 and 15:08 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central, also 11:10 Brighton to Cardiff Central will call additionally Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction.

08:06 Weymouth to Cardiff Central, 08:41 Bristol Temple Meads, 11:08, 13:08 and 14:08 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central, also 12:54 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central will call additionally Severn Tunnel Junction.

From Cardiff Central:

11:25, 14:25, 15:25, 17:25 and 18:25 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour, also 12:25 Cardiff Central to Brighton will call additionally Severn Tunnel Junction.

10:24 (departing 10:25) Cardiff Central to Brighton, 13:25, 16:21 (departing 16:22) and 19:25 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will call additionally Severn Tunnel Junction and Patchway.

16:36 Cardiff Central to Brighton and 17:40 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour will start from Bristol Temple Meads.

Transport for Wales

  • Services between Cardiff Central - Ebbw Vale Town, will operate to an amended timetable.
  • Trains between Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa and Cardiff Central will terminate at Newport.
  • Maesteg Services to shuttle between Maesteg - Bridgend.
  • Valley Lines (Rhymney and Caerphilly) shuttle from Cardiff Bay.
  • Penarth services shuttle from Cardiff Central.
  • Valley Lines (Treherbert and Barry Island) will diverts via City Line at Radyr. 

The 19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central will terminate at Hereford, a replacement bus will run forward to Cardiff Central.

The 21:15 Carmarthen to Hereford will terminate at Cardiff Central, a bus will be provided for onward travel.
