Boardmasters is the UK's biggest surf and music festival. /the festival brings together 50,000 like-minded souls with a love of music, surfing, well-being and the outdoors for five days on the Cornish coast. This years line up includes acts such as Skepta, Kings of Leon and the 1975.

Boardmasters Festival takes place across two sites in Newquay, Cornwall, with over 200 artists playing across 12 stages at Watergate Bay.

What's happening with the trains?

Please check closer to the time of the event for updates on how the trains are affected.

Those travelling by train should:

  • Allow extra time as trains to Newquay will be busy.
  • Expect queues.
  • Get to the station at least 30 minutes before your reserved train is due to depart.
Please note: some services do not take surf boards so please check the luggage information.

Shuttle buses will run approximately every 15 minutes from Newquay station once the first trains arrive on Wednesday 5th August.
