Amended late night trains between Didcot Parkway and Chippenham / Bristol Parkway from Monday 13 to Thursday 16 July

Late night engineering work is taking place between Swindon and Chippenham / Bristol Parkway, closing some lines.

The following alteration will apply from Monday to Thursday night:

  • The 21:48 / 22:48 London Paddington to Swansea trains are diverted via Bristol Temple Meads before calling at Bristol Parkway. Journey times will be extended after leaving Swindon.
  • The 23:15 London Paddington to Oxford will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Cardiff Central will be diverted between Reading and Bath Spa and will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham. Replacement buses will run between Reading and Chippenham calling at Swindon, between Didcot Parkway and Swindon and between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads.
