Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Chesterfield, closing various lines.


Services to / from Scotland will be diverted to an alternative route, additionally calling at Doncaster and extending journey times by 30 minutes.

Services between Reading and Newcastle will be amended to run between Reading and Derby only.

East Midlands Railway:

Train services on the Sheffield to London St Pancras International route will be diverted between Sheffield and Chesterfield, journey times will be extended.


Buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Nottingham.
