Buses replace trains in the Peterborough / Ely / Bury St Edmunds area on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich on Saturday, and between Peterborough and Ely / Ipswich on Sunday, closing all lines.

Saturday and Sunday:

CrossCountry train services will be replaced by buses between Peterborough / March and Ely.

East Midlands Railway train services to / from Norwich will be amended to run to / from Peterborough. Replacement buses will run between Peterborough and Norwich. A shuttle train service will run between Norwich and Ely. More information is available on the East Midlands Railway website.

Greater Anglia trains will be replaced by buses between Peterborough and Ely.

Sunday:

Greater Anglia train services will be replaced by buses between Bury St Edmunds and Peterborough, and also between Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge North. Kennett station cannot be served by replacement buses, customers to / from Kennett should speak to station staff or use a help point for further assistance.
