Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Slough area, closing two of the four lines in the area, which will reduced line capacity to / from London Paddington.

Long distance services:

Some trains between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Plymouth will be retimed to depart up to 4 minutes earlier than usual.

Some trains that usually run between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa will run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa only. Customers travelling through should change at Swindon for alternative services to / from London Paddington.

Some trains will additionally call at Didcot Parkway in order to help customers maintain connections.

Trains between London Paddington and Newbury / Bedwyn will run to a revised timetable, with trains running hourly.

Local services:

Between 09:25 and 20:30, trains between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be retimed, and will run a few minutes later than usual.
