Description

Major engineering work is taking in the London Kings Cross / Moorgate areas, closing all lines to these stations.

Great Northern / Thameslink

All weekend, NO trains will run between London King's Cross / London St Pancras International / Moorgate and Potters Bar / Gordon Hill. Trains will run to a revised timetable between Potters Bar and Cambridge / Peterborough and on Saturday between Gordon Hill and Stevenage

All weekend:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • On Saturday - Gordon Hill and all stations to / from Alexandra Palace
  • On Sunday - Stevenage and Hertford North and between Hertford North and Alexandra Palace
  • Alexandra Palace and Turnpike Lane (London Underground).
  • Potters Bar and St Albans, connecting with Thameslink trains between St Albans and London St Pancras International on which tickets will be accepted
  • Potters Bar and Oakwood, calling at Hadley Wood, Cockfosters and Oakwood (London Underground stations)

Trains that usually run between Peterborough / Cambridge and Horsham / Brighton will be amended to run between London Bridge and Horsham / Brighton only.

Trains will run between Welwyn Garden City and Potter Bar, between Potters Bar and Peterborough / Cambridge (after approximately 08:00), and also between Cambridge and King's Lynn. On Saturday only between Stevenage and Gordon Hill via Hertford North,

Customers travelling between Kings Lynn and London should use Greater Anglia services between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge, and Great Northern services between Cambridge and Kings Lynn.

Please note: Gordon Hill and Cockfosters (London Underground) stations do not have step-free access. Customers who require step-free access for their journey, should speak to a member of station staff, press the emergency help point button, or contact our Assisted Travel team on 0800 058 2844 or text on 07970 511077. If you plan to continue your journey via London Underground services, please check Transport for London websites for information on their accessible stations.

Grand Central services have been suspended.

Hull Trains services have been suspended.

LNER:

No trains will run between Peterborough and London Kings Cross.

Please note that trains that do run between Doncaster and Peterborough, are diverted via but not calling at Lincoln.

Other trains from Leeds / Scotland will be subject to cancellation or will terminate / start from Doncaster.
