LNER between London Kings Cross / Doncaster / Leeds / Newcastle and Edinburgh also between Leeds and Aberdeen also between London Kings Cross and Glasgow Central

TransPennine Express between Liverpool Lime Street / York / Newcastle and Edinburgh

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed, resulting in the closure of some lines.

CrossCountry

Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Edinburgh calling at all stations.

LNER

There will be an hourly service between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh, they will be diverted via Carlisle and journey times will be extended by around two hours.

Other services between London Kings Cross and Scotland will start / terminate at Newcastle and some will be cancelled.

Services between London Kings Cross and Lincoln / Hull will be cancelled.

Services between London Kings Cross and Harrogate will start / terminate at Leeds.

There will be a rail replacement bus services in place between Newcastle and Edinburgh, also calling at Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick and Dunbar.

TransPennine Express

There will be no services between Newcastle and Edinburgh, trains will start and terminate at Newcastle.

A replacement bus service will operate between Newcastle and Edinburgh.
