Future engineering work

Engineering work is taking place at Leeds, resulting in the closure of some lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains arriving and departing Leeds will be retimed by a few minutes.

LNER:

Services to and from Leeds will be subject to minor retiming.  Services to and from Harrogate, Skipton and Bradford will start and terminate at Leeds.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Leeds and Kirkstall Forge.
• Leeds and Horsforth.
• Leeds and Bradford Interchange.
• Leeds and Halifax.
• Leeds and Wakefield Westgate.
• Leeds and Knottingley via Wakefield.

Trains that usually run between Leeds and Morecambe / Carlisle will run between Skipton and Morecambe / Carlisle only. A reduced service will run between Skipton and Kirkstall Forge.

Trains between Leeds and Lincoln via Sheffield will run between Sheffield and Lincoln only. 

1 to 3 January 2022:

An amended service will continue at Leeds from Saturday 1 to Monday 3 January, more details here.
