TOC(s) affected
London Underground;

Industrial action is being taken by Tube train drivers who are members of the RMT union. The strike action will severely disrupt London Underground services as follows:

Full-day strikes:

The Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines will be affected by industrial action all day on Saturday 18 December.

Evening and overnight strikes:

The Central and Victoria lines will be affected after 19:00 in the evening on the following dates:

  • Friday 3 December
  • Saturday 4 December
  • Friday 10 December
  • Saturday 11 December
  • Friday 17 December

This could mean a significantly reduced service on these lines, with little or no service in places. You can find the latest travel information here by clicking on the "future date" tab and selecting your travel date.

Impact on other services:

The strikes will result in much busier services on the Tube lines that are not affected by the strike, and on National Rail services, as customers seek alternative routes.

Travelling to / from Heathrow Airport during the full-day strikes:

The Piccadilly line to and from Heathrow Airport will be affected on Saturday 18 December. You can use TfL Rail services to travel between central London Paddington and Heathrow Airport.

Check before you travel:
You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner. If your planned journey on the strike dates includes cross-London travel on London Underground services, you may need to re-plan your journey on the day.
