Engineering work is taking place between Alfreton and Dronfield, closing some lines.

East Midlands Railway:

It is not yet known how East Midlands Railway will be affected by these works.


Trains between Nottingham and Leeds will start / terminate at Sheffield. A replacement bus service will run between Nottingham and Sheffield.

Trains between Sheffield and Doncaster / Adwick will not run.

Trains between Sheffield and Scarborough will call additionally at Rotherham Central, Swinton, Mexborough and Conisbrough.

Trains between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly will start / terminate at Hope. A rail replacement bus service will operate from Hope to Sheffield in both directions.

Buses replace trains between Sheffield / Chesterfield and Derby.
