There is no charge for carrying your bike by train.

  • On East Midlands Mainline (London-Leicester-Nottingham-Derby-Sheffield), reservations are compulsory and space is limited
  • On East Midlands Connect (Liverpool to Norwich route), reservations are compulsory and space is limited
  • On All other routes, there are only two cycle spaces per train and it is not possible to reserve in advance. Where space is at a premium, priority will be given to passengers whose mobility is impaired.

Note: If you are travelling with a cycle, you must make yourself known to the station platform staff.
