Not valid on any train timed to arrive at London Liverpool Street (or London Kings Cross or London St Pancras International from East Anglia via Cambridge) after 04:29 and before 10:00, and at Stratford (London) before 09:50 and Tottenham Hale before 09:40.
Return Travel
Not valid on any train departing London Liverpool Street (or London Kings Cross or passing through London St Pancras International to East Anglia via Cambridge) before 09:30, or after 16:31 and before 18:35.
Not valid on north- or eastbound trains departing Stratford (London) before 09:38 or after 16:36 and before 18:43.
Not valid on northbound trains departing Tottenham Hale before 09:40 or after 16:41 and before 18:46.
Not valid on northbound trains departing Seven Sisters before 09:40 or after 16:44 and before 18:50.
Easement
The following easements apply on Greater Anglia services from Monday to Friday inclusive:
08:09 Clacton-on Sea to London Liverpool Street service - from Clacton, Thorpe-le-Soken, Weeley, Great Bentley, Alresford, Wivenhoe and Hythe,
07:53 Walton-on-the-Naze to Colchester service, from Walton, Frinton-on-Sea and Kirby Cross to all destinations.
08:28 Harwich Town to Manningtree service - from all stations to all destinations.
09:02 London Liverpool Street to Ipswich service - from Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) to Chappel & Wakes Colne, Bures and Sudbury only, changing at Marks Tey.
09:18 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-on-Sea service - from Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) to Wivenhoe, Thorpe-le-Soken, Clacton-on-Sea, Kirby Cross, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze.
16:32 London Liverpool Street to Colchester Town service - from Liverpool Street to Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon and Marks Tey only.
16:34 London Liverpool Street to Braintree service - from Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) to White Notley, Cressing, Braintree Freeport and Braintree only.
16:42 London Liverpool Street to Clacton-on-Sea service, to Alresford and Great Bentley only.
18:02 London Liverpool Street to Ipswich service - from Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) to Chappel & Wakes Colne, Bures and Sudbury only, changing at Marks Tey.
18:30 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service - from Liverpool Street to Derby Road (Ipswich), Trimley and Felixstowe only, changing at Ipswich.
18:32 London Liverpool Street to Colchester Town service - from Liverpool Street to Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon and Marks Tey only.
Seasonal Variations
School Holidays - Evening peak restrictions on return journeys from London Liverpool Street and Stratford (London) to Ipswich and beyond (also from Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale to Brandon and beyond via Cambridge) are lifted during school holidays and half-term weeks. Note that restrictions from London Kings Cross are not affected and remain in place.

2024
Half-term: Monday 19th to Friday 23rd February

Half-term: Tuesday 28th to Friday 31st May (Monday 27th May is a public holiday)
Summer: Starts Monday 22nd July.
