Routes in northern England

- Caledonian Sleeper; TransPennine Express; Hull Trains; Northern;
Heavy rain fell over much of northern England on 26 December causing disruption to services.
Services on the following routes are now able to run normally:
Halifax - Huddersfield / Leeds
Trains are now able to run again following poor weather conditions between Halifax and Huddersfield.
Leeds / Selby - Hull
Following flooding between Selby and Brough, the line is safe for services to run between Leeds / Selby and Hull. .
Newcastle - Carlisle
Following a landslip at Haydon Bridge trains will run as normal from the start of service on 30 December between Hexham and Carlisle.
