Tour de Yorkshire

Friday 28 April - Sunday 30 April

Top cyclists compete over 3 days and stages for the Tour de Yorkshire crown. From Bridlington to Scarborough, Tadcaster to Harrogate and Bradford to Sheffield, the competitors and spectators will enjoy spectacular views across the county of Yorkshire.

Stage 1 - Bridlington to Scarborough.

Stage 2 - Tadcaster to Harrogate.

Stage 3 - Bradford - Sheffield Fox Valley.

Recommended station/s

Bridlington, Scarborough and Harrogate are all served by centrally located stations.

Bradford is served by two stations, Bradford Interchange and Bradford Forster Square. Which station you use will depend on where you are travelling from. If you are unsure, then you can use the journey planner to plan to "Bradford all stations", which will provide the best option for you.

The closest station to Tadcaster is York which is 11 miles away.

The final stage finishes at Sheffield Fox Valley, which is 12 miles from Sheffield city centre. The closest station is Penistone, which is 2.5 miles away.

What's happening with the trains?

As roads are closed in the stage area each day, train services will be busy. We expect some extra services to operate to cope with this increased demand. When information on these services have been confirmed, we will post this information here.

However, please note that industrial action has been announced which will affect Northern on 28 April. If this goes ahead, your train journey may be affected.
