Description

Bristol Parkway station will be closed on weekends from Saturday 4 November to Sunday 19 November, allowing Network Rail to continue working on a new platform in preparation for Great Western Railway's Intercity Express Trains.

Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 November

High speed services will be diverted via Gloucester, extending journey times by approximately 40 minutes.

Buses will run between Swindon / Cheltenham Spa, Bristol Parkway and Newport

Local services will be replaced by buses between Filton Abbey Wood and Yate and also between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach.

Some services will be retimed.
