Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Newport, closing all lines from 22:00 on Saturday and all day on Sunday. 

Arriva Trains Wales:

Trains between Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Town will start and terminate at Pye Corner. Buses will run between Pye Corner and Cardiff Central.

Services between Cardiff Central and Gloucester, Cheltenham, Manchester and Holyhead will start from Newport. Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Newport.


Services will start / terminate at Newport rather than Cardiff Central. Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Newport.

Great Western Railway:

Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Newport. Some services will be cancelled throughout, and will not be replaced by buses. Some services will start from Bristol Temple Meads or Westbury instead of Cardiff Central.
