Easter Travel Summary 2018

Railway Improvement and Engineering Work

The Easter bank holiday period (between 30 March and the 2nd April) is a time when less people travel on the railway and when traditionally a considerable amount of improvement and engineering work needs to be undertaken on Britain's rail network. Network Rail will be carrying out major upgrades this Easter, including in the Bristol area between the 30 March and the 3rd April, on the West Coast main line with no services running to and from London Euston on Sunday the 1st April and in the Manchester Victoria and London Liverpool Street to Ingatestone/Billericay areas. Other engineering work will also be taking place across the country.

Please click and enter your travel details below to check if your journey will be affected.

Your journey will also be disrupted if you are travelling to and from Moorgate (London), Sutton, Cambridge, Hull and Glasgow.

Details of all the engineering work taking place over the Easter period can be found here.
