Engineering work is taking place between Cambridge and Ely, closing all lines.


Services between Stansted Airport and Birmingham New Street will run between Stansted Airport and Cambridge, and also between Ely and Birmingham New Street. Replacement buses will run between Cambridge and Ely.

East Midlands Trains

Services that usually run between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will be amended to run between Liverpool Lime Street and Ely only. If you are travelling to Norwich, you should change at Peterborough for a direct bus service. Buses are also running between Ely and Norwich. 

Great Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Cambridge and Ely.

Greater Anglia:

Services between Cambridge and Cambridge North will be replaced by buses. Replacement buses will also run between Cambridge and Ely, and between Ely and Norwich.

Services between Ipswich and Peterborough will operate normally, and are not affected by these works.
