Description

Engineering work is taking place between Brundall and Reedham, closing all lines.

No trains will run between Norwich and Lowestoft all day. Customers travelling to Brundall Gardens and Brundall should use Norwich to Great Yarmouth services.

Customers for Cantley and Reedham should travel to Acle, where replacement buses will run between Acle and Cantley and Reedham.

Customers travelling to Oulton Broad North and Lowestoft should use replacement buses running between Norwich and Lowestoft.

Bicycles:

Non folding bicycles are not allowed on rail replacement bus services at any time. Folding bicycles are allowed if fully folded. For more information, please see here.

Project Information:

Network Rail are replacing the old mechanical signalling equipment with modern technology using colour LED signals. They are also replacing manually operated switches with powered switches controlled by a remote computer based signalling system.

Track layout at several locations will also be improved to cater for increasing capacity and reliability demands of a modern railway.
