between Bedwyn / Newbury and Reading

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Bedwyn, closing some lines.

Local services:

As a result, the following trains will not run:

The 08:12 Reading to Newbury service.

The 08:42 and 09:37 Reading to Bedwyn services.

The 08:48 Newbury to Reading service.

The 09:35 Bedwyn to Reading service.

Customers should use the replacement buses provided between Bedwyn / Newbury and Reading, calling at all booked stations.

The 10:35 Bedwyn to Reading will start from Newbury at 10:53. An earlier bus will run between Bedwyn and Newbury to connect with this train, calling at Hungerford and Kintbury.

Long distance services:

The 08:57 London Paddington to Plymouth service will be diverted between Reading and Westbury, taking 15 minutes longer. This service will not call at Newbury, customers for Newbury should change at Reading for replacement buses to Newbury.

The 08:38 Exeter St Davids to London Paddington will depart Westbury 20 minutes later than usual, and will run 20 minutes later between Westbury and London Paddington.
